Where does Reel Rusty Fishing Charters fish?
We fish the waters around Venice Marina, including the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico. Venice sits at the bottom of the Louisiana marsh, which puts a lot of productive inshore water within a short run of the dock.
What fish will we be targeting?
Our inshore trips target redfish, speckled trout, black drum, sheepshead and flounder. What we chase on any given day depends on the season and the conditions.

We meet at Venice Marina, 237 Sports Marina Rd, Venice, LA 70091. Captain Mark will confirm your exact meeting time when you book.
Do I need a Louisiana fishing license?
No. You do not need to buy a separate state fishing license to fish with us — your trip is covered.
Do I need to bring my own fishing gear?
No. We provide standard gear including rods and reels, so there is nothing you need to bring or rent beforehand.
How much should I tip the captain?
Tipping is customary and appreciated. Most guests tip around 20% of the trip total.
